Turtle launches menswear store in Guwahati

Menswear brand Turtle has opened a new flagship store in Guwahati to bolster its brick-and-mortar presence in Assam. The exclusive brand outlet is the brand’s largest to date in the eastern city and houses its selection of western and fusion wear. 

“The coolest men’s apparel store is live in your city,” announced Turtle on Facebook. “Guwahati, celebrate this milestone with us. We are thrilled to announce the grand launch of our new flagship store. We are delighted to bring the Turtle experience in the heart of the city.”
 
The store is located on the ground floor of the Tribeni Commercial Complex and measures over 2,000 square feet. Products available in the store include shirts, chinos, blazers, and denim among others. 

“Guwahati has always been a significant market for us, and the opening of our flagship store on GS Road is a testament to our commitment to delivering the best in men’s fashion,” said Turtle’s head of marketing Ritankar Sarkar, India Retailing reported. 
 
Sanjay Jhunjhunwalla launched Turtle in 1993 in Kolkata. Today, the label has a retail presence in over 500 Indian cities and counts over 170 exclusive brand outlets with a presence in over 1,500 multi-brand stores.
