“Reflecting on our journey 35 years ago, Looks Salon embarked on a heartfelt mission to redefine beauty,” said Looks Salon’s founder Sanjay Dutta in a press release. “Today, we’ve not only crafted a legacy of elegance but also woven a tapestry of excellence. Each salon is a testament to the passion and dedication of our team, and I am immensely grateful for the privilege to touch lives and create an experience that resonates with our audience.”

Sanjay Dutta launched Looks Salon in 1989 in Karol Bagh, New Delhi as a small barber shop. The business later transformed into a beauty business when Dutta’s spouse Sonali Dutta opened the first Looks ladies salon. The brand then opened its second salon in New Delhi’s Defence Colony in 2003.

Looks Salon introduced international personal care brand Kerastase to the Indian market in 2006 through its Khan Market store in New Delhi. The business further diversified its operations by launching its first academy in 2015 to nurture the next generation of talent in the beauty and grooming industry.

The business currently runs Looks Barber Shop, Looks Privé, and Looks Aesthetics establishments along with its academies and salons. To celebrate its 35th anniversary, its establishments are offering 35% off select products and services and the business plans to continue to expand across the country.
