The event will mark the debut collection of Seán McGirr as the creative director of the fashion house, presenting both womenswear and menswear.

McGirr was named creative director back in October, replacing Sarah Burton who staged her final show for the house in September.

McGirr is an Irish national born in Dublin in 1988. A graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, McGirr earned his Master of Arts in Fashion in 2014 under the late professor Louise Wilson, a name synonymous with shaping some of the brightest talents in the industry.

Before assuming the role of creative director at Alexander McQueen, McGirr served as the head of ready-to-wear at JW Anderson. His journey in the fashion world also includes stints at Dries Van Noten, Uniqlo, Burberry, and Vogue Hommes Japan.

As a successor to the iconic Alexander McQueen legacy, expectations are high for McGirr’s ability to infuse innovation while paying homage to the brand’s rich heritage.
