Men’s occasion wear brand Tasva’s chief operating officer Dhruv Kaura is leaving his role at the business. The executive has worked with Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Limited since 2022.
“The only constant in life is change,” wrote Kaura in a post on Linkedin. “Goodbyes are never easy, specially when you have put your heart and soul in a startup and taken it to an admirable level in a very short span of time. I will always cherish my time spent building Tasva | Aditya Birla Group x Tarun Tahiliani and would take immense learnings to my future professional assignment. Onwards and upwards.”
Kaura first joined the Aditya Birla Group in May 2022, shortly after the brand launched in 2021. The executive was part of the team that developed Tasva’s omni-channel expansion strategy and Kaura wrote on Linkedin that the brand plans to reach a brick-and-mortar store total of over 100 by the end of the 2024 financial year at the end of March.
Tasva launched in 2021 under Indivinity Clothing, a partnership between couturier Tarun Tahiliani and the Aditya Birla group. The label opens both company-owned and franchise outlets and opened its most recent store in Mumbai’s Oberoi Mall in mid-January. Other recent store launches include in Patna, Faridabad, and Jodhpur.
Tasva is designed to offer classic traditional wear for the modern Indian man. The business opened its first ever brick-and-mortar store in Bengaluru and also retails online.
