A man shot overnight in Denver was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The shooting happened in the 1300 block of East 23rd Avenue, the Denver Police Department said in a 2:33 a.m. Saturday tweet.

At 10:03 a.m. Saturday police announced on Twitter that the man had died. The identity of the victim will be released by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner after family has been notified. A homicide investigation is ongoing.
