Lux Industries Ltd opens hosiery park in West Bengal

Lux Industries Limited has set up a manufacturing and warehousing facility at a hosiery park in Jagadishpur, Kolkata in West Bengal.

The hosiery park is spread across an area of 4.50 lakh square feet with over 5 acres of land which will be used for manufacturing while a large portion will be utilised for warehousing, storage, and finishing facilities.

The facility is expected to cater to the rising demand of the company’s products and reduce its dependence on third party production.

Commenting on the hosiery park, Ashok Kumar Todi, chairman of Lux Industries in a statement said, “With this facility, we will be at a better position to manage our logistics and supply chain. We believe that this unit will contribute to the growth of industry, create substantial direct and indirect job opportunities, promote sustainability and ecosystem development, and give an impetus to local economic growth.”
