JJ Valaya opens new JJV store in New Delhi

Eponymous designer JJ Valaya has opened a new store for his bridge to luxury men’s and women’s clothing brand JJV in New Delhi. Located at premium shopping destination The Dhan Mill, the exclusive brand outlet is the first of a number of JJV stores scheduled to open. 

“Now open, the new JJV bridge-to-luxury store at: No. 48, The Dhan Mill, 100 foot road, Chattarpur, New Delhi,” announced JJ Valaya on Facebook on January 29. “We wish our sibling brand the very best for the first of its new homes.”
 
The store has a striking charcoal hued exterior featuring JJ Valaya’s signature calligraphic chevron print. Large charcoal flower pots and a shiny, black floor draw the eye to the JJV brand name, illuminated in gold. 

The boutique launched with a window display featuring occasion wear looks from JJV’s latest collection in bold monochrome prints. Along with its menswear and womenswear lines, the store also houses a selection of accessories such as handbags to offer a complete look. 
 
JJV received praise from animal welfare organisation PETA in 2022 for its use of vegan textiles after launching the same year. The brand is designed to make JJ Valaya’s designs accessible to a wider group of shoppers with a more accessible price point.
