Cool with a chance of thunderstorms Sunday

Denver will see cool temperatures and potential afternoon thunderstorms Sunday, according to the National Weather Service at Boulder.

The city’s temperatures will top out at about 76 degrees Sunday amid partly cloudy skies with some sun, according to the weather agency.

The city will see an about 30% chance of afternoon thunderstorms, with the highest likelihood of storms coming after 3 p.m.

Warmer weather will come with the work week, with high temperatures creeping into the mid-80s on Monday and slowly rising to reach the low 90s on Friday.
