3:54 p.m.: Severe thunderstorm warning posted north of Denver including Longmont, Erie and Firestone through 4:30 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. One-inch hail has fallen in widespread areas.

3:41 p.m.: Metro area severe storm is moving north, storm hit Brighton with 1.5 inch hail, including a shark tooth looking piece.

3:11 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 3:45 p.m. for the north metro area including Arvada, Thornton and Westminster. Quarter-sized hail and winds of up to 50 mph are expected, according to the National Weather Service.
