Bottom wear specialist The Pant Project has forayed offline and opened its first brick-and-mortar store to date. Located in Mumbai’s bustling Bandra neighbourhood, the store is designed to enable the brand to connect with shoppers in person as they have access to exploring the touch and feel of The Pant Project’s trousers offline.

“In an age where online shopping dominates, The Pant Project recognises the importance of a physical touchpoint and is looking to expand its omni-channel footprint across India,” announced the brand in a press release. “The store in Bandra allows customers to explore the unique features of pants like the all-weather essentials which visitors can spray and test for water repellency or the ripstop pants which customers can test with a rock for tear strength. The interactions with trained stylists at the store, and education of different fabrics from Merino wool to European flax linen, aim to build trust and reinforce the brand’s commitment to delivering exceptional quality.”

Following the launch of its maiden store, The Pant Project plans to expand into other cities across the country. The brand’s long term goal is to form a network of physical stores to function as community building centres and customer experience hubs, according to the label.

The Pant Project launched in 2020 as a digital native brand to offer customisable trousers for men and women. The brand currently offers over 250 styles of bottom wear ranging from formal options such as chinos to athleisure styles such as joggers.
