Marvel Shows You Should Watch on Disney+

Last Updated on May 13, 2022 by Andrew

Almost everyone is a fan of Marvel these days. The debate has always been over Marvel Vs DC and the majority of people prefer Marvel over DC because of the content they come up with. Marvel movies are very much like the comics, which is exactly what gives Marvel superiority over DC in live-action movies while DC takes the cake in animated movies. The best thing about Marvel is that not only have they been making movies, but they have also started making TV Shows as well. Certain companies provide the service of giving you streaming apps at a high resolution, such as Xfinity tv plans which include Disney+ as well as Netflix. So if you are a Marvel fan, this list of tv shows is especially for you to watch.

Loki

Everyone’s favorite villain, this tv show revolves around Loki, who is also the brother of Thor. Even though Loki meets his fate in Endgame, this show takes place after the events of Endgame where an alternate version of Loki somehow manages to steal the Tesseract. As soon as he manages to do so, he finds himself at the Time Variance Authority because the timeline has been messed with, and technically, Loki should not exist. The Time Variance Authority gives Loki either of the two options, he meets his fate again or he helps in fixing the timeline and faces an even bigger threat. In the process, Loki gets to meet different versions of himself as well. Loki starts as being rebellious as he usually is but then he starts developing as a character and things get interesting for the watchers.

Moon Knight

Moon Knight is one of the most-watched shows of 2022 because of how creative it is. The concept of Moon Knight is very different, which makes it very fun to watch. The story is about a man with dissociative identity disorder, which causes him to have three distinctive personalities; Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and Jake Lockley. Here, we will refer to him as Marc. Marc gets involved in Egyptian mythology and he is selected by the God of the Moon called Khonshu to be his avatar. The whole idea of the show revolves around Egyptian mythology and the fight amongst Gods, specifically Khonshu the God of the Moon, and Ammit, the Goddess who is the devourer of the Dead.

WandaVision

Just like Loki, WandaVision takes place after the events of Endgame. During the end of Endgame, Vision dies as he has the mind stone in him and Thanos rips it right off, killing Vision in the process. Wanda is left traumatized after Vision’s death because he dies right in front of her. Wanda moves to the place Vision always wanted to move to and she creates her own reality there. She begins an entire community from scratch and that is where things start getting problematic. Eventually, the entire situation gets messed up as Wanda starts messing with reality only to see Vision again.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

This TV show is about Captain America’s two greatest friends, Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. Out of the two, Sam Wilson is the Falcon while Bucky Barnes is the Winter Soldier. Just like the other shows, this one also takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Since Captain America decides on living out his life, he passes on the shield to Sam so that he could continue being Captain America. The show also addresses racism, Sam is hesitant to take up the mantle since he believes that he cannot represent a country that does not represent him. The government decides to take another US Army soldier as the new Captain America but eventually, they realize he is not fit for it. Things take a different turn and the new Captain America is decided at the end of the show.

Hawkeye

As the name states, Hawkeye is about Clint Barton after the events of Endgame. He comes across a potentially amazing archer named Kate Bishop who becomes his apprentice in order to become as good as Hawkeye himself. Kate observes Hawkeye during the Battle of New York and she becomes obsessed with him. Seeing her potential, Clint aims to make Kate as good as he is. He trains her well enough to become an amazing archer. In the show, Clint does not use the name of Hawkeye, instead, he uses his alias of Ronin and he fights off his enemies so that he could reach his family in time for Christmas.

What If…?

The most interesting series Marvel has made yet. Even though the show is animated, the concept behind it is brilliant. The show has the idea that what would happen if the actual stories were altered a bit, and what would the benefits or repercussions be. An example is “What if Peggy Carter were the First Avenger” or “What if Doctor Strange lost his heart instead of his hands?” All the stories are interesting and are bound to keep you hooked. You could watch all of these episodes if you opt for a good service providing company such as Xfinity

In conclusion

Disney+ has the best library when it comes to Marvel shows and if you are someone who loves Marvel shows, movies, and comics, then watching these shows is a must. Especially “What it…?”.
