Department store chain Shoppers Stop’s youth-centred value fashion brand Intune has opened two new stores in India as the brand continues to expand with an omni-channel approach. Located in Vashi and Hyderabad, the outlets bring the brand’s India store total to 13.
“13 is often believed to be unlucky,” announced Intune’s business head Devang Parikh on Linkedin. “As we open our 12th and 13th Intune stores today, I can only hope that we help break myths – one superstition at a time.”
Intune’s new store in Vashi, which opened as its 12th, is situated on the city’s Palm Beach Road and is designed to serve shoppers across Maharashtra. In store, shoppers can browse apparel and accessories priced from Rs 199 with a wide range of trend driven, Gen Z style clothing options.
In Hyderabad, Intune opened a store in the Telangana capital’s Asian Satyam Mall. The shopping centre recently opened, according to its new Facebook page, and houses a range of Indian and international brands as well as a food court and entertainment facilities.
Intune is swiftly expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint across India and previously announced that it plans to open over 20 new stores by the end of the 2024 financial year in March. Shoppers Stop Limited was launched in 1991 and today counts over 106 multi-brand fashion and lifestyle stores across India.
