H&M Home to open first Bengaluru store on February 9

Swedish fashion and lifestyle brand H&M will open its first ‘H&M Home’ store in Bengaluru on February 9 in the metro’s Phoenix Mall of Asia. The brand will also open a fashion store in the mall on the same day. 

“Give your home a brand-new look,” announced Phoenix Mall of Asia on Facebook on February 7. “H&M Home launches its first ever store in Bengaluru at Phoenix Mall of Asia. Everything your home needs under one roof. Don’t miss the launch on 9th Feb, 1pm.”
 
The H&M Home store will retail a wide range of home textiles such as cushions, blankets, and bed linens as well as accessories, tableware, and other home goods. The brand is priced in the mid-segment of the market and has a similar youthful, modern aesthetic to its clothing brand. 

The brand opened its first apparel brick-and-mortar store in Bengaluru in 2016, the Economic Times reported. The brand has a brick-and-mortar retail presence in India’s major cities. 
 
H&M first launched its H&M Home brand in India in February 2022 with a segment in its pre-existing clothing store in Vasant Kunj’s Ambience Mall, according to a blog post on its official website. The line also launched online on its direct to customer e-commerce store and on multi-brand e-commerce platform Myntra.
