GJEPC holds fourth edition of India Gold and Jewellery Summit in New Delhi

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council held the fourth edition of its industry focused ‘India Gold and Jewellery Summit’ from January 23 to 24 to bring together the national jewellery industry and discuss ways to increase growth.

“The fourth India Gold and Jewellery Summit (IGJS) 2024 was unveiled today at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi,” announced the GJEPC on Facebook on January 23. “The GJEPC leadership team who were present to celebrate the occasion include Shri Vipul Shah, chairman, Shri Kirit Bhansali, vice chairman, Dr. Nawal Kishore Agarwal, convener, Jewellery Panel Committee, GJEPC, Shri Anil Sankhwal, convener, Studded Jewellery Panel Committee, GJEPC, Ashok Seth, regional chairman, Northern Region, GJEPC and Shri Sabyasachi Ray, executive director.”
 
The event was carried out with lead partner the World Gold Council and co-partners ECGC, SBI, and Fischer. The initiative was supported by the Ministry by of Commerce and Industry, Government of India and the National Gems and Jewellery Council of India.

Earlier in January, the GJEPC held an ‘Export Outreach Program’ in Amritsar to promote exporting jewellery for growth and its upcoming International Gem and Jewellery Show in New Delhi, the GJEPC announced on its website. The event took place in collaboration with the Amritsar Jewellers Association and detailed safeguards in place to support exporters.
