Gap Kids opens exclusive brand outlet in Hyderabad

US-based casual wear brand Gap’s children’s wear line Gap Kids has opened an exclusive brand outlet in Hyderabad. Located in the city’s Sarath City Capital mall, the store opened its doors with a ribbon cutting ceremony. 

“Explore the world of Gap Kids,” announced Sarath City Capital mall on Facebook. “Find trendy, durable, and comfy clothing for every adventure. Make their wardrobe as vibrant as their spirit.”
 
The store has an open façade and is decorated in bright white with the brand’s signature navy blue accents. Inside the store, Gap’s signature colourful logo sweaters feature in the entranceway with a promotional offer of Rs 1,000 off. The store caters to boys and girls with its toddlers’ and children’s clothing and accessories collections. 

Gap Kids retails in India through its exclusive brand outlets as well as on a number of multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Tata Cliq, Flipkart, Amazon India, Ajio, and Myntra. Gap currently counts stores in locations including Mumbai, Guwahati, Pune, and Amravati, according to Reliance Retail’s online store finder tool. 
 
Reliance Retail brought Gap Inc to the Indian market in July 2022 through a long-term franchise agreement. This was the second time the brand had launched in India as it had previously retailed in the country in partnership with Arvind Fashions but ended the arrangement in 2020. The brand originally launched in the US in 1969.
