Crocs reopens Calicut store in Hilite Mall

Footwear brand Crocs has relaunched its exclusive brand outlet in Calicut (Kozhikode) inside the city’s Hilite Mall. The store features a wide range of sandals for men, women, and children. 

“Rediscover comfort with the relaunched Crocs showroom at Hilite Mall – a fresh look for your favourite footwear destination,” announced Hilite Mall on Facebook, sharing photos of the reopened store. 
 
The store has a new, black and white interior which is contrasted by colourful brand posters. Central islands in the store display the brand’s latest launches and a segment on one wall is dedicated to Crocs’ ‘classic’ line of brightly hued clogs. 

Crocs retails in the Indian market in partnership with Metro Brands Limited. The businesses first signed a retail agreement in 2008 and began by adding Crocs’ footwear to a selection of Metro Brands’ multi-brand stores. In 2015, the businesses signed a non-exclusive retail license agreement which enabled Metro Brands to open Crocs stores in India. Today, Crocs retails from over 200 exclusive brand outlets across India.
 
The brand’s signature shoes are made of a closed-cell resin material called croslite and Crocs is known for its brightly coloured designs and playful aesthetic. Crocs was launched in Colorado, US.
