Brandman Retail partners with Rockport to launch footwear in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and the Maldives


Brandman Retail has partnered with US-based footwear brand Rockport to introduce its range of premium comfort-driven shoes in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and the Maldives. The collaboration marks Rockport’s strategic entry into South Asia, with Brandman Retail overseeing its expansion across key markets.

The partnership will see Rockport’s collection made available across multiple e-commerce platforms, with Brandman Retail aiming to capture between 4% and 5% of the regional footwear market, the business announced in a press release. Rockport’s launch in India is set for March 2025, with its products accessible across 19,000 pin codes via Flipkart, Tata Cliq Fashion, Tata Cliq Luxury, Nykaa Fashion, Nykaa Men, Myntra, and Brandman Retail’s official website. The collection will feature a mix of dress shoes, casuals, and sneakers, designed to mix comfort and functionality with style.

“We are committed to introducing premium global brands to South Asia,” said Brandman Retail’s head of business development Kashika in a press release. “This collaboration with Rockport marks a key milestone in our journey. Rockport’s world-class craftsmanship and innovative footwear perfectly align with our mission to meet the growing demand for high-quality footwear in the region.”

Brandman Retail has previously launched international brands such as New Balance in India, operating 12 exclusive stores, including 11 for New Balance and two Sneakrz outlets. Leveraging its experience in integrating global brands into the South Asian market, the company aims to strengthen Rockport’s presence and redefine the region’s premium footwear segment.

Rockport, founded in 1971, has built a reputation for integrating sports shoe technology into dress and casual footwear. With Brandman Retail leading its regional expansion, the brand aims to establish a strong presence in South Asia’s growing premium footwear segment.
