Bengal Bazar to hold first shopping fair in New Delhi this February

Handicraft business Bengal Bazar will bring together a range of desi fashion and lifestyle brands in New Delhi from February 15 to 17. The sustainable event will take place in the metro’s Haus Khas area, a first for Bengal Bazar, and marks the business’ fifth anniversary.

The business to customer event will feature product categories including zero waste clothing, accessories, handloom fabric, and jewellery among others, the business announced in a press release. The event is designed to celebrate traditional Indian craftsmanship and promote ethnical fashion. 
 
Brands set to take part in the event include Anki Bunki which retails jewellery and fashion from Bengal and bespoke bindi brand The Bindi Project. Bhomra will retail its Jamdani dresses and menswear, Latasita will showcase its zero waste clothing, and Ssahaworks will present its stoles, dresses, and sarees made from hand-spun cotton. 145 East, Harpers Lane, Sadaf, Needle, and Bunophal will also bring along their latest products for Mumbai’s shoppers to browse. 

Srila Chatterjee launched Bangal Bazar as a multi-brand online platform to nurture up and coming brands in 2019 with the aim of promoting Indian art, design and craft. the e-commerce store has categories for apparel, art, home décor, stationery, toys, beauty, wellness, and edibles among others.
