“We have always been dedicated to giving menswear designers the platform they deserve,” said Sunil Sethi, chairman of the FDCI in a press release. “With the success of India Men’s Weekend 2025 in Jaipur, we are taking the momentum forward with this showcase. It is exciting to support the new designers on the block, two of whom are making their debut.”

Anurag Gupta unveiled ‘Metamorphosis,’ a collection exploring growth and reinvention through raw textures and fluid silhouettes. Actor Sahil Salathia opened the show in a black trouser-shirt set with a blue overlay adorned with 3D skull embellishments. “It’s about shedding the old while embracing new forms,” said Gupta about his designs, which transitioned from earthy tones to airy fabrics.

Gaurav Jagtiani’s Linetribe label presented ‘Monolith,’ a futuristic menswear collection featuring oversized jackets, tie-dye techniques, and metallic accents. “I wanted to balance functionality with ornamentation while keeping the essence of Linetribe intact,” Jagtiani said.

Abhisek Roy’s ‘Roy_Calcutta’ label revisited Bengal’s nawabi heritage with intricate zardozi and jamdani embroidery. Tennis star Leander Paes opened the show in an ivory angarkha kurta and dhoti, while actor Prosenjit Chatterjee closed it in a black velvet jacket.

‘The Boy’s Club’ was designed to reinforce the FDCI’s commitment to strengthening menswear in India, through innovative design. Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI runs at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from March 26 to 30.
