Marshall will report directly to the New York-based beauty giant’s chief executive officer, Michelle Peluso. He succeeds Paul Smith, Revlon’s chief information officer, who will depart from his position next month.

A retail and media veteran, Marshall has expertise in a wide range of technology platforms, including emerging technologies, with a demonstrated ability to strategically align technological initiatives with key business objectives.

The executive joins Revlon from Merlin Entertainments, where he served as global CTO. Prior to that, Marshall served as VP of technology EMEA at Starbucks, after serving as IT restaurant solutions director Europe at McDonald’s. Before joining McDonald’s, Marshall held several senior roles at Marks & Spencer in both operations & technology.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ralph to the Revlon team. Ralph brings a robust global perspective from his many leadership roles at well-known, global brands, in addition to a passion for coaching and mentoring teams. His end-to-end technical expertise and deep understanding of how to leverage technology to strengthen the consumer experience will be critical as we work to unlock the long-term growth potential of our brands,” said Peluso, who was appointed to the firm’s top position in November last year, to help turnaround the struggling business.

“On behalf of the executive leadership team, I also want to thank Paul for his many contributions to Revlon. I am deeply appreciative of the progress we have made in the digital space under Paul’s leadership and wish him all the best in the future.”

Revlon, which emerged from bankruptcy in May 2023, is a global major player in color cosmetics, skin care, hair color, hair care and fragrances. Its portfolio includes Revlon, Revlon Professional, Elizabeth Arden, Almay, Mitchum, CND, American Crew, Creme of Nature, Cutex, Juicy Couture, Elizabeth Taylor, Curve, John Varvatos and Christina Aguilera.
