
Reliance holds first ‘House of Sephora’ event in India
Reliance Brands Limited held its first ‘House of Sephora‘ beauty event in India at Mahalaxmi, Mumbai to engage shoppers and launch a range of international products.

“Beauty’s biggest moment has arrived,” announced Reliance Brands Limited on Linkedin. “The first-ever House of Sephora opened its doors in India, bringing an unforgettable experience to beauty lovers! From discovering the latest trends, exclusive access to product launches, to indulging in interactive brand zones, it was a celebration like no other by Team Sephora.”
The event featured a Sephora Café where guests could choose refreshments in a monochrome, European style setting. Along with a wide selection of product demonstrations, guests could try out makeup from Sephora’s own label as well as global brands.
A ‘Better Skin Fast’ area shared skincare tips and trending products and the event also featured a photo area and graphic wall where guests could add their own artistic mark. Taking place across 10,000 square feet, the event was put on with events management business Toast, the business’ managing director Harshad Chavan announced on Facebook.
Sephora launched in the Indian market in 2012 and Reliance Retail acquired the license to operate Sephora in India in 2023. The business recently opened brick-and-mortar stores in Ludhiana, Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad, Press Reader reported.
