OTT by Tarun Tahiliani sees models re-drape versatile garments on the runway at Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI
OTT by Tarun Tahiliani presented multi-wear garments on the runway for its return to Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India as models re-draped their outfits as they walked the ramp. Sharing a philosophy of daily reinvention, the brand’s second collection to date focused on fluid, feminine silhouettes.

“This collection speaks to the multifaceted urban woman- her wardrobe evolving as she moves through life, accumulating pieces that reflect her journey and achievements,” said Tarun Tahiliani about the collection in a press release. “The act of buying fashion transforms into a deeply personal statement of self-expression.”
The collection blended Indian and Western silhouettes to create Tahiliani’s signature India Modern aesthetic. Draped gilets, fluid dresses, structured jackets, and layered separates formed a wardrobe that catered to women of all ages. The emphasis was on effortless elegance, where each piece could be restyled to suit various occasions.
Craftsmanship remained integral to the collection, with hand-embroidered chikankari reinterpreted in modern designs and Rabari craft revived through vintage-inspired pieces. The Singh Twins’ signature geometric prints, first introduced in a 2015 collaboration, returned in soft summer tones of ecru, blush, sage, and taupe, applied across linen, Chanderi, georgette, organza, and jersey fabrics. By seamlessly integrating archive pieces with new designs, OTT also encouraged a sustainable approach to fashion.
Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India ran in Mumbai from March 26 to 30. The event brought together designers from across India and also featured numerous design contests.
