A motorcyclist taken to a hospital after a crash in Denver has died, police said.
The crash, involving the motorcycle and another motorist happened at the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Quebec Street, the Denver Police Department said in a 10:49 p.m. Friday tweet.
The motorcycle rider, a man, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased, police said in an 11:50 a.m. Saturday tweet. The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner will identify the man after his family has been notified. A police investigation of the crash is ongoing.
UPDATE: the motorcyclist, an adult male, was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
