Lenzing showcases new fibre technology at conclave in Panipat


Global wood-based speciality fibre business Lenzing Group hosted the Lenzing Conclave in Panipat, bringing together textile manufacturers and exporters to explore its latest fibre innovations. Products showcased ranged from including carpets, rugs, bed linens, and terry towels to filled products such as pillows and comforters.

Focusing on advancements in fibre technology for home textiles, the event saw Lenzing present its latest fibre portfolio, featuring ‘Tencel Lyocell A100,’ ‘LF,’ ‘x Micro,’ ‘Fill,’ and ‘Lenzing Ecovero Black,’ Apparel Resources India reported. The Panipat conclave highlighted how these fibres can enhance structural bed linens with unique textures and effects, making them suitable for both simple and intricate weaving techniques.

Avinash Mane, senior commercial director for AMEA and NEA in commercial textiles at Lenzing Group, emphasised the company’s focus on sustainability at the event. Sharing that sustainability is at the centre of everything Lenzing Group does, Mane said that the business is committed to providing fibre solutions that not only improve performance but also reduce environmental impact. Mane also announced the Lenzing Ecovero and Tencel fibres are transforming home textiles by offering high-quality and eco-friendly alternatives.

The Lenzing Conclave in Panipat served as a platform for collaboration, enabling direct engagement with manufacturers and exporters. Through such initiatives, Lenzing aims to drive innovation and sustainability in the textile industry while promoting the adoption of advanced fibre solutions.
