Kate and Oscar opens children’s wear store in Gurugram’s Ambience Mall

Children’s wear brand Kate and Oscar opened a brick-and-mortar store in Gurugram on February 7. The store is located in DLF Phase 3’s Ambience Mall and retail the brand’s selection of everyday and occasion wear for girls and boys. 

“From playful prints to timeless classics, the store is set to redefine the fashion spirit for young boys and girls in the Delhi NCR region,” announced the brand in a press release. “The brand offers a variety of chic and elegant apparel for children three to 14 years of age.”

Kate and Oscar operates a number of brick-and-mortar stores in India including one in Chennai’s Palladium Mall and one in Bengaluru’s Phoenix Mall of Asia. The brand specialises in western wear for children and also retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store which offers free shipping across the country. The brand aims to provide comfortable and elegant clothing for children, according to its website. 

Kate and Oscar is an extension of pan-India electronics business D P S Reddy Group which was established in 1951. The Reddy family also set up the Taj Coromandel hotel and first forayed into the apparel industry with the launches of Vijay Garments Limited and Bhavan Garments Limited in the 1980s.
