As part of his “Les Sculptures” collection, set to be revealed during a runway show in Saint-Paul-de-Vence on January 29, Jacquemus has reimagined one of Repetto‘s timeless classics, the iconic Zizi oxford shoe.

It was in the 1970s that Rose Repetto, the eponymous founder of the brand, conceived this oxford shoe, inspired by jazz dance shoes, which she christened as “Zizi” in homage to her daughter-in-law, the dancer Zizi Jeanmaire. Under Jacquemus’s creative direction, these shoes, also famously worn by Serge Gainsbourg, now feature a square toe and a circular heel.

Crafted using the Goodyear welt method in Repetto’s workshops in Dordogne, this new leather model is available in sizes ranging from 35 to 46 and retails for 450 euros at select retail locations and online through Repetto and Jacquemus websites.
