Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 43 of 14th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) match at Dubai International Stadium today. Sent in to bat, Rajasthan scored a mere 149 for nine against Bangalore after a making high-flying start.
Evin Lewis top-scored with a 37-ball 58 while Yashasvi Jaiswal contributed 31.
For RCB, Harshal Patel was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/34.
Earlier, England’s George Garton was handed his IPL debut by RCB in place of Kyle Jamieson.
In the RR playing XI, Kartik Tyagi came in for Jaydev Unadkat.

On the other hand, with eight points from 10 matches, it will be a make-or-break outing for RR as a loss in today’s game can put them in a tight situation in its bid for a last-four berth.
