Yankees’ starter Carlos Rodon threw a live batting practice session Sunday prior to the team’s series finale against the Boston Red Sox.

Rodon faced Harrison Bader and Willie Calhoun during the session. Rodon hit Calhoun with a pitch on the outfielder’s elbow. Calhoun said he felt a tingling sensation but was OK and will hit leadoff against the Red Sox.

“I thought he looked really good,” manager Aaron Boone said about Rodon. “Probably stuff-wise, as good as I’ve seen even going back to spring.”

The manager said Rodon’s fastball hovered around 93-96 MPH, which is a tad faster than his high-intensity bullpen session during the team’s West Coast trip. Boone added that the starter will throw another live session on Thursday and he will begin a rehab assignment afterwards.

WEBER OPTS FOR PRP INJECTION

Ryan Weber is opting for a PRP injection and rehab in hopes to avoid season-ending Tommy John surgery, according to MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch.

The decision comes after the pitcher told the Daily News of his preference to take “the conservative route” following a Grade 1 UCL strain that landed him on the 60-day injured list.
