
AstorMueller AG announces launch of India joint venture Nuvora
Switzerland-based footwear business AstorMueller AG has announced the launch of its Indian joint venture, Nuvora. The business plans to strengthen its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing consumer markets, enhance its reach among Indian consumers seeking premium international lifestyle products, and accelerate expansion.

“We are delighted to introduce Nuvora, a boutique organisation in the Indian luxury retail market which envisions a world where fashion is effortless, personalised, and deeply connected to the individuality of every customer,” said Nuvora’s CEO Sandip Baksi in a press release.
To facilitate this growth, AstorMueller has partnered with the Gaurik Group, which has experience operating exclusive brand outlets across India. Baksi said that localised expertise would help the venture scale rapidly while remaining grounded in the brand’s core values.
AstorMueller AG is behind European brands such as Bugatti, TT.Bagatt, and Salamander. The joint venture will launch 10 to 12 exclusive Bugatti stores in the current fiscal year and plans to establish a presence across the top 20 Indian cities, supported by a multi-channel retail strategy.
