Under Armour launches UA Infinite collection

Under Armour, a leading US-based sports apparel and footwear brand, has announced the launch of the Ultimate (UA) Infinite collection. As the brand’s newest running footwear franchise, this collection is all about delivering key footwear models that support long run days as well as everyday miles.

Designed as the ultimate endurance collection, the experience is boundless, effortless and limitless on the run. From the super plush feel of UA Infinite Elite to the balanced spring and support of UA Infinite Pro, these shoes were built to help you go the distance with ease and efficiency. The overarching goal of the Infinite Elite and Infinite Pro is to make the last mile feel better than the first, the company said in a press release.

UA HOVR cushioning has always been known for its energy return—the springy feeling that powers you through your longest runs. By molding together tiny foam beads, Under Armour created a new way to add up the spring. UA HOVR+ will debut in these two styles and deliver a lighter, softer and more responsive underfoot experience as the catalyst that advances the long-run experience for the athlete.

Leading the charge for the introduction of HOVR+ is the UA Infinite Elite. Designed in both men’s and women’s styles, a high-mileage training shoe built for the long run and a runner’s go-to pick for their must-have mileage monster in their rotation. From the collar and tongue foam, the laces, to the sock-liner, everything is built for comfort and long-run performance.

The adaptive full-length UA Intelliknit upper is built with zonal stretch and containment to move with each runner’s unique stride. And a beveled heel design and a light, but durable rubber sole absorb impact for a smooth, steady feel.

Following up the Elite, the UA Infinite Pro is the alternative style in the collection, offering that run-forever feel. With the UA Infinite Elite being engineered for the ultimate long-run experience, the UA Infinite Pro is designed for balance, responsiveness, and consistency, giving the athlete the perfect tool to conquer recovery runs, everyday miles, and everything in between.

Continuing to drive the boundless energy return experience in both men’s and women’s styles, this model takes some of that key technology from the long run day shoe in Elite and brings it down to a daily trainer for those shorter days or recovery runs. 

To celebrate another milestone in running, Under Armour launched the UA Infinite Elite through the streets of Barcelona, Spain alongside UA Mission Run Athlete Sharon Lokedi.
