New label Quirkk India expands into children’s wear
Varanasi-based label Quirkk India has expanded into children’s wear, bringing its bold and art inspired aesthetic to a younger audience as it eyes e-commerce for its next phase of growth.

Quirkk’s maiden children’s collection has launched on its direct to customer e-commerce store, featuring animal print sets in bright hues. The label’s recent foray into the children’s clothing segment aligns with the growing demand for coordinated outfits for parents and children, The Hindu reported.
Quirkk India’s designs are crafted with Fine Arts students from Banaras Hindu University, who contribute to the hand-painted and printed motifs. The brand has showcased its products and production at a number of fashion exhibitions across India in order to increase visibility.
As part of its growth strategy, Quirkk India is preparing to expand its online presence. “Our presence at select exhibitions has helped us market the brand both in India and abroad,” said Qurikk India’s co-founder Mudit Kanoria, The Hindu reported. “Now, our website is taking shape, and we’re ready to explore e-commerce opportunities.”
Mudit Kanoria and Surbhi Kanoria launched Quirkk India in August 2024. The label has become known for its vibrant mix of hand-painted and printed designs, inspired by pop art, nature, and global artists like Van Gogh and Frida Kahlo. The brand has also begun to specialise in pet portraits, colourfully rendered on oversized shirts and available for custom order, according to its website.
