Innisfree holds exclusive Nykaa event to launch sun care range


Korean skincare brand Innisfree collaborated with multi-brand beauty retailer Nykaa to hold an exclusive event to debut its ‘Innisfree Green Tea Hyaluronic Moist Sun Serum’ in the Indian market and connect with its Indian customers.

“Innisfree has always been at the forefront of educating consumers about Korean beauty and delivering high-quality, innovative skincare products,” said Innisfree’s managing director and country head Paul Lee in a press release. “With the new launch, we remain committed to helping consumers achieve radiant, protected skin with minimal effort.”

The event welcomed a crowd of media personalities and influencers who tried out Innisfree’s sun care offerings. Interactive activities were designed to engage guests with a DIY charm station where guests could personalise their own product charms and information was disseminated on the benefits of using sunscreen. 

“Indian consumers are increasingly looking for multi-functional products that deliver visible results,” said Innisfree’s assistant director and marketing head Mini Sood Banerjee. “The Sun Serum addresses this demand by combining two key steps– skincare and sun protection– into one powerful product. We are confident that it will become a must-have in every skincare routine.”

Innisfree announced that it was the first Korean beauty brand to enter India with 100% foreign direct investment. Today, the label retails across the country and debuted in the quick commerce market this year.
