
Decathlon sees India revenue cross Rs 4,000 crore in FY24
Global sportswear and sporting goods retail business Decathlon saw its India revenue cross the Rs 4,000 crore mark in the 2024 financial year and reached profitability in the country.

Decathlon Sports India Private Limited reported a revenue from operations total of Rs 4,008.26 crore in the 2024 financial year, the Press Trust of India reported citing the business’ filing at the Registrar of Companies. This total represents a 2.24% year on year increase and the business also reported gains of Rs 197.19 crore during the fiscal year.
With the business’ total income reaching Rs 4,066.4 crore in the 2024 financial year, Decathlon Sports India saw its income reach its highest level for the past five years, ET Bureau reported. The past financial year also saw Decathlon Sports India increase its spending on promotions and advertising by 33% to total Rs 87.49 crore.
Decathlon Sports India retails through both business to business and business to customer channels. In the 2024 fiscal year, its business to business sales totalled Rs 117.68 crore and its retail sales totalled Rs 3,430.67 crore. The business’ e-commerce sales dropped by 2.2% in the 2024 financial year to total Rs 437.07 crore, compared to Rs 446.75 crore in the 2023 fiscal year.
