Bhawna Rao opens flagship store in Chattarpur

Luxury clothing label Bhawna Rao has launched a flagship store in Chattarpur to offer women’s couture and formal evening wear, fittings, and consultations. 

“I wanted to create a space where women could indulge in a curated shopping experience that was not only opulent but also deeply personal and comfortable,” said eponymous designer Bhawna Rao in a press release. “At Bhawna Rao, our pieces are designed for extraordinary occasions, and I wanted our store to reflect that same sense of celebration and elegance.”

The store launch welcomed Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha as a special guest, dressed in a custom Bhawna Rao ensemble. Rao herself wore a custom sky blue gown at the store launch, which also debuted looks from the brand’s latest collection. 

The new store is designed to present a personalised approach to luxury retail, according to Bhawna Rao. Inspired by Baroque architecture, the store’s interiors feature French columns, archways, and a soft colour palette. Fragrances and background music have also been curated to create an immersive experience for shoppers. 

Founded in 2016, Bhawna Rao has established itself in India’s luxury fashion space by combining craftsmanship with contemporary couture. The new flagship store is part of the brand’s overall growth strategy, which includes ambitions to expand both in India and internationally.
