
Bestseller appoints Sumit Dhingra as country director for India
Fashion major Bestseller has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Sumit Dhingra as the country director for the Indian market effective 1 June 2025.

Dhingra will succeed Vineet Gautam, who stepped down as country director last year.
In his new role, Dhingra will be responsible to fuel the growth and expansion of Bestseller brands that include Jack & Jones, Vero Moda, Only, Selected Homme among others across the country.
Commenting on the appointment, Anders Holch Povlsen, CEO of Bestseller in a statement said, “Sumit has strong experience in the fashion industry and a leadership approach that aligns well with Bestseller and our goals in India. We remain focused on growing our business in this market, and I’m confident that, together with the team, Sumit will help drive that growth. Dhingra has over two decades of experience in the fashion and lifestyle industry. He has held leadership roles across leading global and Indian fashion brands.
